    Bass-baritone Byeong-Min Gil graduated summa cum laude from Seoul National University. He won numerous awards in many nationally acclaimed competitions such as the Dong-A Music Competition (2017), Korea National Opera Competition (2016), Gwangju Voice Competition (2015), and Dae-gu Voice Competition (2015).

    He was also the grand winner of the 2016 Toulouse International Singing Competition in France, which is when he began to draw attention as the next-generation bassist representing South Korea. He has enjoyed success in numerous international singing competitions, including the Monte Carlo Voice Masters in 2017, the Otto Edelmann International Competition in Vienna in 2018, the Giulio Gary International vocal competition and the Galina Vishnevskaya International Competition in 2019.

    His opera debut was as Monterone in “Rigoletto” conducted by Fabio Luigi at the Florence Opera Theater. He was invited to a festival hosted by world-renowned bassist Ildar Abdrachakov to perform with Ildar Abdrachakov himself. Byeong-Min joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme of Royal Opera House in the 2019/20 Season.

    Byeong-Min Gil was most recently recognized through his participation in the famous Korean TV audition program Phantom Singer 3. He has been acclaimed for his rich and powerful voice as well as his outstanding talent in music. His team, LetteAmor, is expanding their popularity through their concert tours “You’re My Everything,” (April - June 2021), “The Most Beautiful Thing with LetteAmor,” (September 2021), and “Great Adios 2021 with LetteAmor” (December 2021), as well as their mini album “Wish” (released June 2021) and digital single “Farewell Ray” (December 2021).

    He released his first solo album “A Time to Blossom” composed of Korean art songs in October 2020, and released the classic album “The Road of Classics” on February 17, 2022 with Warner Classics label. He has collaborated with the best orchestras, including the National Chorus of Korea, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and KBS Symphony Orchestra. Byeong-Min Gil, a next-generation bass baritone leading classical music industry in South Korea, is expanding his musical domain through various activities.
